Week 17 Highlights, Week 18 Printout, Unit 3 EXAM SCOPE

 Dear parents and students,

Merry Christmas to you all! We had a little gift exchange in class. It is such a blessing to be able to spend Christmas (well technically Christmas eve) with you dear little ones. Even though we had a party at the end of this week, we did a lot of studying before that and here's what we learned:

  • For Journeys, 402 read about the life of ants from their HC Journeys book and 403 read about the life of bees in their SC Journeys books. We've learned that both of these insects are social and have a pretty rigid system in their own little worlds!
  • For writing, both classes had to compare two similar objects and write an essay to persuade others which object is better.
  • For science, we finished Unit 17 on the different forms of energy.
  • For math, we continued to work with fractions and mixed numbers.
I can't believe that exams are coming up again! Our final exams will be on Tuesday and Wednesday, January 4th and 5th. Please click here for the e-version of the exam scope
