Week 12 Highlights, Week 13 Printout, and Exam Study Materials

 Dear parents and student,

Here's what happened this week:

• For Journeys, both classes got a head start in lesson 11 for the next unit. We learned about different storms such as simooms, haboobs, black blizzards, and water spouts. We learned that wind is the major cause of most storms. (Please note that Lesson 11 Journeys will not be on this upcoming exam.)
• For grammar, we also got a head start in U9 about imperatives. We learned how to give directions and instructions to others.
• For science, we finished up the unit 16 on forces.
• As for math, we did reviews on area and perimeter.
