Week 8 Highlights and Week 9 Printout

 Dear all,

Hooray! Both English and Chinese Unit 1 exams are over! But.. life moves on. As much as we'd like some breathing room, we continued to learn. So, here's what we covered this week:

  • For reading, both A and B class read L22 from the soft cover Journeys book about Susan and Elizabeth who fought for women's rights back in the 1800s.
  • For math, we learned to multiply decimals with single digit whole numbers.
  • For grammar, we finished U15 on adjectives and adverbs and took a quiz.
  • We haven't had time to start science yet because the school required all students to attend some Children's Day Activities on Friday when they were supposed to have English classes.
I hope that all of you have a safe and restful long weekend! :)
