Week 5 Highlights, Week 6 Printout, and Unit 1 EXAM SCOPE
Dear parents and students,
I can't believe that 5 weeks have already gone by and that it's getting close to our unit exams. Here's what happened this week:
- For Journeys, we finished L19 and took a spelling quiz.
- We haven't started a new unit on grammar this week because we missed class time due to the earthquake drill and focused on writing a personal narrative essay instead. We will finish grammar unit 14 on question words next week.
- For science, we finished unit 20 on electric circuits and conducted a small experiment with a mini electric circuit. Student had to figure out how to create a closed circuit and test objects to determine whether they are conductors or insulators.
- For math, we completed all the pages for Unit 1 (as we're a little ahead) so we'll start reviewing for exams next week.
EXAM SCOPE

• ENGLISH EXAM Thursday, March 24th from 8:30am-10:00am
• SCIENCE & MATH EXAM Friday, March 25th from 8:30am-10:00am
