Week 3 Highlights and Week 4 Printout

 Hi everyone!



Another week has gone by and here's what happened:

  • For Journeys, we had a quiz for Lesson 17 and started L18 Journeys and Vocabulary. Both classes read about the rise and fall of Odysseus. It was quite an interesting story.
  • For writing, both classes wrote a personal narrative about an indellible memory. We learned how to incorporate sensory details into writing in order to bring the story to life.
  • For math, we finished a unit on time and solved rather challenging word problems but the majority of the students tackled them like heroes. 
  • For science, we finished U19 on heat energy and did a fun skit about 'naughty kids' trying to burn their exams and learning about flammable materials through the skit.
  • For grammar, we reviewed U12 on present simple and progressive and completed a quiz.
